There is no weight limit or restriction on any player that is heavy then other players. Everyone is eligible to run, pass and catch the ball.

The ECYFL fully understands that there are some parents who can’t pay the fees it takes to allow their child to play in a youth league. Therefore, the ECYFL has set aside twenty-five “FREE” slots for those kids that does not have money for registration first come base. Once used, that kid has to wait until a new list comes out (if any will be given out again)
There is no tryout at Eastern Carolina Youth Football League. Everyone who comes out and sign-up make the team. But down the road, the league will set up its league even more like the NFL with a draft; the league is set up to have a draft from which all players will be drafted from college to a pro team, but that is further down the road. As it stands for now, all participants make the team.
